WIDE ROLLFORMER

The CIDAN Wide Roll Forming Machine is engineered for decades of consistent, high-quality panel production. This robust industrial wide rollforming machine features 14 to 30 stations (depending on the profile) and durable 85 mm shafts, ensuring reliable performance for diverse applications. Equipped with an advanced AMK control system, you can program up to 50 rows with varying numbers and lengths for precision manufacturing. Its innovative “material-saving mode” automatically stops the machine and adjusts settings to optimize material utilization, reducing waste and high maintenance costs. Ideal for fabricating corrugated, PBR, or AG panels, this precision rollforming system offers a cost-effective solution for high-volume production.

Smart advantages

  • The feed unit has hardened roller bearings, ensuring the material is perfectly guided into the roll stations.
  • The front cut-off shears allow the user to trim the material cleanly.
  • 14 – 30 roll sets depending on the profile.
  • The encoder has a wheel that sits on top of the panel as it passes through the machine. The tension spring ensures constant contact between the encoder and the material for consistent and accurate lengths.
  • With 2 shears, the post-cut shear allows for panels to be made to any length while the pre-cut shear reduces waste but cutting the last panel before entering the machine.
  • The hydraulic cut-off shears are controlled by four bearing shafts for burr-free cutting of the panel.

Infeed guide

The infeed has hardened roller bearing guides that ensure the material to guide perfectly into the roll stations. The infeed is fully adjustable via hand wheel on left and right side.

Front roller shear

The front roller shear allows customers to not waste material when forming the final panels of a job. The AMK Control will calculate when the rollformer needs to stop and cut the coil from the job. After the coil is cut, the rollformer will feed the final pieces forward to the post shear in the rear of the machine for final cut. The roller shear comes standard with a hold down beam for accurate straight cuts.

Cromed tools

To form the desired panel, there are between 14 and 30 tool stations available. The last two stations are specifically used for processing materials with thicknesses ranging from 1.46″ (37 mm) to 2.4″ (61 mm). The machine is equipped with robust 3.35″ (85 mm) shafts, and the roll formers are made of Cr45 steel with a hard chrome surface for increased durability. All tool designs are achieved using Cobra Engineering’s advanced design software.

The too stations are height adjustable

Each tool station is equipped with an indicator showing the tool height, which simplifies the process of adjusting for different material thicknesses.

Encapsulated bearings

The rotational bearings in which the shafts are mounted are encapsulated, allowing for smooth transmission of power from the drive system.

Rubber pinch roller

Rubber Pinch Roller insures coil is constantly feeding into the rollformer without slipping or misaligning thru the roll stations.

Stacker

Stack the finished parts on an stacker. Available in different lenghts with a capacity of up to 7716 lbs (3500 kg).

CNC Cut-to-length

We offer also a CNC Cut-to-length on top of rollformer with run out supports.

Rollout safety

Rollout safety cages in lieu of quick change side cages.

Post shear

The Electric Post Shear is guided by 4 bearing shafts for burr free cutting of the panel. The post shear enables you to cut from small 3.94″ (100 mm) long panels, up to 60 feet (18.3 m). The electric motor allows for maintenance-free running at high-efficiency energy savings. The post shear has a spring-loaded hold down, to stabilize the panel during the cutting process.
